Ōtaki to North of Levin (Ō2NL)

A 24km four-lane highway from Taylors Rd, Otaki to north of Levin, the northernmost section of the Wellington Northern Corridor RoNS, bypassing Otaki, Manakau and Levin. NZTA's disclosed budget is $2.1b, up from about $810m in 2020. Two alliances are building it. Main works began in late 2025 with completion targeted for the end of 2029. Tolling is under consultation.
