An 18km rapid-transit busway for northwest Auckland, Brigham Creek to the city centre at Newton via Te Atatu. Cut from the 2024-27 NLTP as Labour's rapid-transit corridor, then reinstated by National as a busway. The fast-track panel approved the whole corridor on 4 September 2026. Costed at $4.9b, most of it not yet committed: staged construction may begin from 2027, subject to funding.
