A network of new and upgraded roads south of Hamilton connecting SH1, SH3 and SH21 and serving the growing Peacocke area, reinstated as a Road of National Significance. The NZTA Board endorsed the investment case, which recommends tolling and reports a benefit-cost ratio of about 1.9 un-tolled and around 14 minutes saved between Tamahere and western Hamilton. The envelope is $2.32-2.72b including escalation, contingency and funding risk. To be built in stages across multiple NLTP periods as funding allows.
